How often should RO filters be changed?
As a general guide: sediment filter every 3 to 6 months, carbon filter every 6 to 12 months, membrane every 1 to 2 years and UV lamp about once a year. Hard or high-TDS water wears parts faster, so we advise based on your actual water.
How do I know the membrane has failed?
Common signs are very slow flow, salty taste, an output TDS that is not much lower than the input, or the purifier running for a long time without filling the tank.
